Well, it’s that time again. USPS changed their rates as of yesterday. Last year those rate and API changes affected the way the international rates worked but many folks never noticed.

I don’t know what the repercussions are for this year so I don’t know whether folks need to install the new USPS version right away or not. You may not know it until customers complain which could be long after you’ve lost sales.

If you do have the new mod installed, you need to realized it hasn’t been widely tested so another install might be necessary. I will install the new mod for my maintenance clients for free and $50 for anyone who is not on maintenance. That includes any subsequent reinstalls.

No matter what, keep an eye on USPS. No telling what the changes are or how they might affect your cart!
