I’ve got some exciting news for Word Press users. I’m presently using WPForms in this blog for my website contact page. After not relying on WordPress for much more than simple blog posts, I ended up using it for the site contact form. There’s a free lite version and I no longer get any spam at all – the main reason why I have been searching for a long time for a new contact form.<\/p>\n
I’m pleased at how easy it was to setup and use a form after a bit of initial floundering around. Now, however, there’s an opportunity built in!<\/p>\n
It can now be integrated with Stripe payments!<\/span><\/p>\n If you stay with the lite version, they will charge you an additional 3% but if you upgrade to the basic version it’s only $49 a year and no extra applied to the Stripe 3%.<\/p>\n It integrates better than I expected – you can set up recurring payments which is missing in any module that I know of written for Zen Cart. (Alas, the Stripe payment module on Zen Cart hasn’t had a working version, though someone put\u00a0 out a new one in March. (It needs testing!)<\/p>\n I’m seriously considering installing it as it would make it easier for folks to signup\/send me money. But since I prefer folks talk to me first before paying for things like site evals, I may not.<\/p>\n But the ability to insert a link in a WordPress blog post to a specific form for one product? Oh, man, what a great promotion tool!<\/p>\n A caveat here: I still don’t like WordPress installations on the same website as Zen Cart and I feel it’s only appropriate if you are actually blogging. But since no one has been able to get a good anti-spam filter for the Zen Cart contact form and WordPress’s security has improved, perhaps it might be worth it to some customers.
