\n\tInterestingly enough, I was finishing up the new version of my mobile template when I got the email about the new Zen Cart Version being released last weekend. So I swung into action and packaged up the mobile for 1.5.3 in addition to the 1.5.1 and 1.5.2 versions. See the demo here.<\/a>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe new mobile template is only available for 1.5.1 and above. We are starting to get into upgrade territory with the other versions so I'm stepping out of making this mobile template retroactive. The first Zen Cart Mobile Template for 1.3.9 and 1.5.0 (Why are you on this one? – 1.5.1 has much better performance) are still available here<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tMobile User Friendly Features and Bug Fixes
\n<\/h3>\n

\n\tThe new version, though, is so much better!  To start with, all bugs are fixed – especially those pesky additional images popups. The newest version of mobile jQuery added some real useful features that I pulled in such as menu panels. They are like sideboxes for mobile. On the left side are categories. The right side has navigation and three sideboxes: information, search and ezpages – all of which can be turned on or off.\n<\/p>\n

\n\t\"the<\/a>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThere are other editable settings such as being able to show \/ hide category images and descriptions as well as being able to change the default setting on the product list to open on page load.\n<\/p>\n

\n\t\"The<\/a>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAnd they are all in one place – not zenlike but definitely easier to manage.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tTheming – Comes with Light and Black in Package

\n\tWith only a couple of minor changes, the default template can go from the nice light (recommended) theme to black.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tBut now you can also use the jQuery Themeroller<\/a> to create your own theme. I'll be doing a post later on how to create your own theme that works well with this Zen Cart Mobile Template\n<\/p>\n
